Open Source RoundUp 2007 is the event that brought together professionals and practitioners with focus on Open Source in projects, product development, project management, test platforms, embedded systems, kernel engineering, bio sciences and social networking.

The technical event included year end party, goodies for attendees and career networking forum with Resume drop box, to facilitate professionals and students seeking career opportunities in specific technologies.

We have categorized the photographs in various sections for logical consistency and ease of loading of the large number of pictures.

Founded by late Sri Pulla Reddy Garu in 1997, with the objective of providing excellent learning facility for women to pursue engineering education, GNITS is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).Accreditated by NBA (AICTE), GNITS is the first women's college in Andhra Pradesh to obtain ISO 9000 : 2001 Certification.

It offers 4-year, full time B.Tech. Degree programmes in the branches of CSE, ECE, EEE, ETM, ICE and IT. It also offers three 2-year (full time) M.Tech. program in Power Electronics and Electric Drives, Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Electronic and Communication Systems.

The College Meet was atteneded by a large number of students who were keen to learn about Linux and OpenSource. OpenSuSe 10.2 (6-CD set), FreeBSD 6.2, NetBSD 3.1, Gentoo Linux CDs were distributed to the students.

Overall a memorable meet at Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering, Vijayawada.
